How do I get past the "Unable to start the trial for the TestComplete plugins" error

I just started the trial but after installing and starting TestComplete I immediately get a pop dialog box seen in the attached screen shot. Any ideas how I can't past this popup?

I followed the steps outline in the link namely I uninstalled, requested a new trial license, downloaded a new exe(TestComplete_T934879205016SLM.exe), ran the installer and finally ran TestComplete but got the identical error.
