HID input device recording
Is it possible to record tests from HID input devices other than keyboard and mouse? We have a custom control panel that we would like to record user inputs from.

I think but I'm not sure that TestComplete uses hooks into the Windows API for the keyboard and mouse for recording these things. If your HID device utilizes the keyboard and mouse events for the input, then yes, TC will probably record it. They may look like mouse events and keyboard events. For example, in a previous life, we used USB connection credit card mag-stripe readers in our application. While they were USB connected, they passed through the Windows keyboard buffer so recording a swipe came through as a Keys command in TestComplete.
