Help with instructions on instrumenting legacy Android app

Have you followed steps described in https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/mobile/legacy/android/about.html ? Note, that application must be started as Tested Application in order to be instrumented automatically.

To manually instrument application you need access to its sources, not just to .apk file.
