Getting separate keys for Floating User licenses
Hello!
Our principal has provided us with 2 licenses for TestExecute. However, they have only 1 registration key for both instances. I have installed License Manager, and it now allows to launch 2 copies of TE in our subnet.
The problem is, we need 1 instance of TE in our network, and the 2nd instance of TE in a remote network that is completely separate from ours.
So, if I install another License Manager in that remote network, it won't work, since the activation key registers both instances at once in one location.
What should we tell our principal? What steps are needed to do to get 1 key for each instance? Will it involve any additional cost?

Hi Oleg,
You can use the approach listed in the "Using TestComplete in WAN" article.
If it's inconvenient for you, contact the Sales team (sales@automatedqa.com) - they can split your key so that you could have two keys to activate on different PCs. This is for free.
