Folder Comparision

Question

I have two folders containing xmls and some image files i have to do a comparisions on them to check if the are identical or not,.if not show where it is differing. Is there any option in test complete to do it or should i write a manual code for this.

You can use Files.Compare to compare the XML files as two text files being compared. (see http://smartbear.com/support/viewarticle/11074/)

For the image files, you can use Regions.Compare (http://smartbear.com/support/viewarticle/11125/).

Hi,To compare all files in a directory with all files in another directory, you should compare files one by one. You can find an example of iterating through files here.
