Firefox can't find Smartbear test exetention

Since the newest version of Chrome and Edge is not supported and broken at the moment, I wanted to test on firefox.

After downloading firefox i cant seem to find the smartbear-test-extention.

on the page it says this:

"This extension is automatically installed in Chrome and Edge during the TestComplete installation, and is shared among all user accounts in these browsers."

However I downloaded firefox after testcomplete so how do i get the extention for firefox?

I cant seem to find how/where to install the extention.

If anyone has a link or a guide please let me know.

    The latest version of TestComplete indicates the following,

    Improvements

    Extended support for Firefox browsers. TestComplete now supports all current and future versions of Firefox. There's no need to wait for compatibility updates anymore - TestComplete will automatically work with new Firefox releases as they become available.

    Have you tried it yet, and is it now working for you?

      I've not tried it yet since Chrome is working again, but I might try it in the future

    Currently TestComplete support Mozilla Firefox 91 - 115.10 ESR, 94 - 116 (both 32- and 64-bit versions) https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/web/supported-browsers/index.html and the latest version support is planned to be released by the end of this quarter Firefox 140.0 ESR support? | SmartBear Community 

    To install the extension after installing Firefox 115, these are your options:

    • Uninstall, reboot, and reinstall TestComplete 
    • Modify installation to fix the install
    • Try to record a script and the error message should give you the correct link of the extension

        Not really fixed but I downgraded Chrome to 138 and that fixed the issue with browser testing

    From what I remember from previous posts, the latest Firefox does not work with TestComplete!

    Take note, TestComplete supported browser for Firefox is,

    • Mozilla Firefox 91 - 115.10 ESR, 94 - 116 (both 32- and 64-bit versions)If you use a later version of Firefox, check whether a patch is available for it.
    • Note: Beta versions of Mozilla Firefox may not work with TestComplete. They are not supported and we recommend using a stable release.
