Your window is modal. aka - it blocks all other objects within the application until it is cleared.

 

I suspect whatever you mapped it with is not being recognised at runtime. Add it to MSAA and map it reliably and all should be well. Mine is ....

It is a modal standard windows dialogue box.

 

I have run into this same issue and ended up disabling the unexpected window handling:

Tools > Current Project Properties > Playback > Ignore unexpected window = checked

 

I would try enabling this setting and running it again.
