Execute Test Script from Azure Test Plans

Question

How would an end user kick off a test from a Test Plan?
I have a Build pipeline configured to execute tests in my project, but the Azure Test Plans feature wants a Release pipeline. Do I need to configure a Release pipeline?

My Selenium based pipeline is configured to run any test by selecting the associated&nbsp;Test Plan and starting an Automated Test.This works well.Reading the docs:"To run TestComplete tests as part of a test plan, your TestComplete project must be bound to your team project, and your TestComplete test cases must be linked to the team project’s test cases. See Link TestComplete Test Cases to Azure DevOps Test Cases.Configure the task to run tests of a test plan.Specify the test plan and a test suite that includes the TestComplete tests."This sounds like I need to create a separate pipeline (or stage) for each Test Plan...?
