Error when creating Table Checkpoint in TC8.1 (Delphi app)

Question

Hello,

I am receiving the attached error after choosing the appropriate table on the finder screen of the checkpoint wizard and then clicking 'Next'. I confirmed that the application was compiled correctly. I also inserted the .tds file into the appropriate directory but the error still appears.

Any ideas?

Hi Morgan,Note that TestComplete can create Table checkpoints only for specially supported controls. What is the WndClass of the control for which you are trying to create a checkpoint?

It is a TDBGrid.&nbsp; I also notice that in the object spy, the wColumnCount and wRowCount rows show the same error as I attached above.&nbsp; Thanks,Morgan

Hi Morgan,If so, I suppose that you need to follow the suggestion provided in reason #2 (see the error message). You need to compile your application with debug information as stated in the "Open Applications in Delphi" (http://www.automatedqa.com/support/viewarticle/13169/) help topic.
