I map my app (myapp) since a few years for new items.
I don't understand why, when I map new items, the Name Mapping increase a number for the process name as the following :
MyApp
MyApp_new
MyApp_new2
MyApp_new3
etc...
When I edit the mapping, there is only "Process Name" which is obviously "MyApp".
No need to duplicate entries...
I have this problem since a long time, and still have it in the version 14 of TC.
The app is coded in Delphi.

I too faced similar problems, this generally happens when you have multiple instance of application running and you are mapping objects from different instance.
Try running single Instance and map the objects and check.
Can we see screenshots of your Mapped Objects and Aliases panes in NameMapping, please?
Champion Level 3I used to see those sorts of entries when we merged Name Mapping files and there were duplicates.

It's surely this case, I have 2 groups of projects and times to times I have to merge the mapping files.
And, as you said, sometimes it warns that there is duplications.
Is there a tool to view theses duplications ? I have 4Mb mapping files and it would take me too much time to see same names with different mapping.
