Download bar in Internet Explorer and FireFox

Hi Smartbear,



During Web testing using IE 9.0 and TC 10.3, I am unable to access the buttons(Open/ Save/Cancel ) on the download bar.



The window object of the download bar is recognised in Object Spy but the child controls is empty.



Using the download option in Firefox, I am able to access all the controls in the Open/Save popup, but on trying to drill down the object tree firefox crashes.

    Hi Joe,



    For firefox, there is no download bar but the crash occurs with the download popup.Please refer the video attached(Firefox-Downloadbar.zip) to the first post.



    For IE I will try out the suggestion given by you.

    I've seen similar Firefox crash too, and I found that switching TestComplete Object Browser Properties tab from Advanced view to Basic view solves the problem. You should try this.

    I've recorded the issue with the Firefox crash in our bug-tracking system. Our R&D team will investigate it.

    Hi All,

     


    I want to inform you that this issue was fixed in TestComplete 10.40.


    Please update to this version to avoid Firefox crashing when exploring objects in the Object Browser.
