Has there been any changes here? Is Mac OS support in the near future for TestComplete?
Currently, I'm expecting not. TestComplete is a PC desktop application and, for it to run on MacOS, I'd imagine it would take a pretty big re-write.

Is that the same for TestExecute as well? Looking for options to test Safari browsers. The new Environment Manager does not support Safari there either.

Hi,

TestComplete supports Safari for Windows fine. (Though the browser itself is not supported for several years already.)
As for the Safari for Mac, you may consider browser's emulation via Chrome: http://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/app-testing/web/mobile/emulator/about.html

Support for Safari for Windows was discontinued in TestComplete 10.40. It might still work but we don't guarantee it.
Currently TestComplete only supports Safari emulation using Chrome - as AlexKaras mentioned:

The documentation talks about mobile web apps, but desktop Safari can be emulated in the same way.

TestExecute is just the execution engine of the TestComplete environment, decoupled from the IDE. So, whatever is supported or not supported in TestComplete follows to TestExecute.
As for supporting Safari browser, at this time, I've not heard any plans... however, make the suggestion... that's how I'd run with it for now.
