Does TC requires any add-ons

Hi, I just like to know whether TC needs any add-ons of the product, which is about to test before I start to use TC??



My product is an UI component in C# and .Net platform, WPF component so does i need to add any add-ons for it to start to use the various functionalities of TC??



Pls let me know more about add-ons if it is required and help me to gain knowledge on this.

    Thanks Ann for your valuable response, I will check with the articles you have recommended.



    Apart from that, one more query i would like to get clarified regarding plug-ins, I would able to see almost all the plug-ins in the Install Extensions is been enabled by default, so now if I disable some of the plug-ins based on my application will any of the function of TC will be affected ??



    My application is WPF and Silverlight, and Syncfusion Essential Studio, which is my product, is been supported by TC, so could you pls help me to analysis what are the necessary plug-ins needed for my application to be supported by TC in order to increase the memory usage in my system by disabling unwanted plug-ins for my application. 



    Also Syncfusion Essential Studio is been supported by TC till the 9.2.0.13 version, and can it be upgraded to the latest version, if yes can u pls help for that it???

    Hi,


    There is no need to disable the plug-ins that you don't need. Actually, enabling or disabling plug-ins does not influence memory usage.


    Syncfusion Essential Studio is been supported by TC till the 9.2.0.13 version


    TestComplete's support for third-party controls is constantly upgraded. I guess, you are using TestComplete 8. We have added support for further versions of Syncfusion Essential Studio (and for many other controls) in TestComplete 9. You can apply for a TestComplete 9 free trial version on our web site.
