Do I need to process the .xap file if I am executing the script for silverlight app on a new machine

I am executing a already written script for silverlight application. But sometimes it executes and sometimes it doesn't. When I tried Object Spy on it, I am getting a message to process .xap file with tcAgPatcher as Test Complete does not have access to internal objects.

Is it required for execution??
