Dealing with Special characters in test complete 9.2

Please tell me how to get the special characters from the list item of the application when there is no object  for the specific list item and then verify it

    I don't quite understand your task. What do you mean by "special characters"? Are those characters written in any Unicode language? 


    Also, what do you mean by this: when there is no object  for the specific list item?
