Creating a new TestComplete Project Suite from pre-existing project suite

This may help. You can create the separate project but now you will be maintaining the common scripts in two places.

You can share tests between projects this way

https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/working-with/managing-projects/project-items/sharing.html

That will allow you to maintain the majority of the scripts in the original project. You can then add the 64 bit version to the new project and maintain those separately.
