I have several tests in which I have to download an Excel file from a webpage. TestComplete will register that the download button was clicked (image 1), but is unable to launch Excel from the second download screen that appears (image 2).

My browser is set to only download files, and it will not attempt to open the file.
In my web application that I test, I delete the Excel file from the downloaded folder, I then download the Excel file and perform the necessary checks, without opening Excel application. I perform the delete first because I don't want the file name to have an incremented value.
Does TestComplete click this box successfully ?
Yes, only during the recording. It fails at this point during playback

What's the exact failure/error you are receiving, after clicking the "second box"?
