Can any one help, Test complete object spy is not identifying excel ribbons.

Test complete object spy is not identifying excel ribbons. Ex: I want to know whether Format Painter option is enabled or disabled?

    Hi,

     

    In addition, if I remember it correctly, MSAA extension in TestComplete had to be enabled to make Excel ribbon elements accessible.

Thank you very much, its working for me.

We have to enable the "*" option in MSAA section.

    Hi,

     

    Great that the things are working for you.
    Though, as per my memory, enabling the '*' option was not recommended because of performance considerations.

    You may read the documentation for the detailed description (press F1 for the MSAA accepted list window) and experiment with the reduced list of windows classes.

    For example, in my case, this windows classes list is enough:

    NetUIHWND

    NUIpane

    MsoCommandBar*
