Does an IE update occured ?
Or a setting changed (compatibility mode, ..) ?
Or the tested application changed ?
An IE update has not occurred since it was last working, compatibility mode is off, and the application I am testing has not changed since it was last working.

How many instances of iexplore are open in Windows currently? Is it possible that there is something that spawned another iexplore process that is confusing matters?

Specifically... go through this particular process again... and make sure nothing has changed like registry values, etc.

My task manager shows only 1 process of iexlore running.
It would be one thing if the button did not work when called on by the script, but after the script is stopped, until I leave the page the button will not work manually either.
