Automation of Progress Openedge Application using Test Complete

Hello, I am trying to map objects from the ProgressOpenedge application and run a test using testcomplete. The problems I am facing are - All objects have been given uinque property name...

Hello



Using standard MSAA and UI Automation interfaces, I was able to automate the application. Yes, you have to rely on some unreliable properties like heights and widths but it does work fine.

I am faced with the same challenge as you had regarding TestComplete and Progress Frames.



Can you tell me is there much configuration required to use the MSAA and UI Automation interfaces with TestComplete ?



Also Can you tell me if you have found your scripts to be reliablie? (you mention in your thread that you use "unreliable properties")
