Appending code to an existing Script

After upgrading form Testcomplete 9.31 to version 10.5  if  I try to add code to an existing script it always creates a new subroutine.   Prior to Upgrading I would simply place the cursor in the existing script and press the record script button.   I tried searching the web but all of the information I have found refers to Keyword test: "If you use keyword tests, you can append the recorded operations to existing tests instead of recording new tests."     Is there an option that I need to set  or did the latest versions drop the ability to append code to an existing script?
