What is the new OS, that you are using? What DPI scale are you using? What version of TestComplete are you using? Have you tried re-installing TestComplete? Do you have SmartBear Test Extension installed? Are you testing web or desktop application?

We’d like to provide some more details regarding the issue we're currently facing:
There was no OS upgrade. However, we did apply a Windows security update last week, and the issue started occurring after that.
Operating System: Windows 10 -1809
DPI Scale: 150%
TestComplete Version: 15.72.60
Re-installed TestComplete: Not yet reinstalled .Should i have to?
SmartBear Test Extension: Yes, installed and enabled.
Application Type: Desktop WPF application.- rraghvani14 days ago

"After upgrading our operating system" - this implies OS upgrade e.g. Windows 10 to Windows 11!
Refer to the requirements that scot1967 has provided, see https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/general-info/configuring/windows-specifics.html
Your DPI and/or Scale needs to be set at 100%. Otherwise, TestComplete will fail to recognise objects. You can test this using the Object Spy tool, and you will see that objects are not correctly highlighted, as you hover over different UI objects.
As you have only installed an OS Patch, you don't need to re-install TestComplete.

I will add this link to regarding DPI setting...
Testing With Various DPI Settings
https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/testing-with/specifics/testing-on-different-dpi-settings.html?sbsearch=DPI
I will add that if your DPI setting and OS/GUI configuration have not changed since applying the OS update(s) then I wouldn't think this would be an issue if all was working before.
A re-install of TestComplete is likely one of the things support will ask you to do so they can start from a known point. - scot196714 days ago

The OS version you have provided was released in 2018 and the last update was in 2021. What is the security patch you installed? It is possible something went wrong there. What research have you done regarding this patch?
