A patch for TestComplete 8.6 supports FireFox 7

Greetings, Brave testers!



We have just released a patch for TestComplete 8.6 that enables support for Firefox 7. This patch is compatible ONLY with the most recent TestComplete 8.6 release and NOT with earlier TC releases.



The patch can be downloaded from our Downloads area:

Installation is simple - unzip and copy 3 files. For more details, refer to the installation instructions link on the downloads page.

    Hi guys!



    I've tried to run some tests with TestExecute after applying this patch on Firefox 7.0 (Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:7.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/7.0) but it doesn't work. If I run the same test with TestComplete everything works fine.



    Does it mean that the patch is applicable only for TestComplete?

    The download page has different patches for TestComplete and TestExecute 8.6. Did you apply patches appropriately?

    I realized that I saw 2 patches on the download page in a couple of minutes after I've created the post on forum and was going to delete it. Before that I've tried to apply patch for TestComplete to TestExecute.



    Sergei, thanks for quick reply and sorry for misunderstanding - I believe I won't face any problems when apply correct patch.
