SwaggerHub On-Premise - NTP server

Hi,

Does a private NTP server require an internet connection in SwaggerHub On-Premise ?

Are there alternatives to  NTP server without internet connection ?

    You can provide NTP services locally. But the common use case is to use NTP pools on the internet. This would require an outbound connection through the firewall.

     

    NTP on SwaggerHub is used only to coordinate the date stamps in logs. It is entirely optional. 

    Modern servers have very reliable internal clocks and most clouds/hypervisors provide local time synchronization.
