Stripping whitespace out of the response elements

Hi
SoapUI is removing/stripping whitespace out of the response elements.

if the value is as following in the source which deliver the information:
' Stripping whitespace',

it is returned without whitespaces
<>Stripping whitespace<>

I can not see any properties for response in the Preferences dialog box to control it.

    It's your service that trims the space. I don't think SOAPUI does that by itself, without writing groovy.
    Is it for all or some fields?

    Does anyone was able to solve this issue?
    I'm facing the same problem.. as from specification, XML formatting ini SOAPUi does not preserve spaces, but I'm looking for a way to preserve them.

    please , any help or trick would be really helpful
