SOAPUI Response returns weird characters

SoapUI request returns weird characters below. The web service I am using works, SOAPUI seems to be converting the response to a different character set.

Thanks!

  • Hi,

Could you please check that you haven't disabled decompression:

    Go to file/preferences
Look in the http Setting tab
Make sure Disable Response Decompression is not checked

  • I have encountered the same problem and this was the solution that worked for me.
In SoapUI version 4.6.0 in Preferences / HTTP / Response compression must be unchecked.
