Out of Memory Error While Importing Projects

Question

Hi Guys,Just recently my soapui has been crashing whenever i import my large projects. I tried increasing xmx to 2048m, max perm to 1024m and it still crashes whenever i import a project. Here's the error I'm getting.2013-09-26 20:45:34,096 ERROR [errorlog] java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceededjava.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceededHoping for your support,Thanks!

Definitely refer to http://www.soapui.org/Working-with-soap ... usage.html

First, I would check that you are changing the right file: .sh, .vmoptions, vmoptions.txt ?

Also, are you running a 32 bit version? If so, then your JVM is limited by nature to about 1.6Gbs

It's ok now! i only increased the xmx in my soapui.bat before and did not work. I tried increasing xmx in .vmoptions to 2048m and I can import my project now. I'm running 64ibt btw.Thanks!
