Where do the load tests created in load UI get saved? What files and locations?

The load tests that are created are saved in the project file.  If you go to the location where you saved the Ready API project file and open the project file you will notice xml related tags to the load test such as con1:loadui-project.

There is a GIT plugin that is bundled with the Ready API product, see below link for more information.
