Ready API 3.50.0 Regression Issue: Test Case Halts when SOAP Fault occurs

We are unable to upgrade past Ready API client 3.49.0.
Starting with 3.50.0, our test cases halt when a SOAP Fault occurs.
Our script assertions allow for certain error codes and expect the test case to continue execution.
The test step is green and succeeds based on the assertion.
With 3.49.0 and previous versions, the test case continues as expected.
However, this behavior has changed starting with 3.50.0.
Will this regression issue ever be resolved?
It still hasn't been fixed as of patch 3.54.0.

    This is probably a ticket for SmartBears helpdesk, rather than a community forum.

    If you're using ReadyAPI, then you have access to support.
