Validation in SOAPUI

Hi,

I would like to know how validation of request and response working in SOAP UI.I have WSDL file imported to call the webservices.WSDL included with XSD .I could see the validation option to validate the request against the XSD.But I am not sure how the validation occurs when we receive response.

Anyone could please explore the option to validate the reqoest ,Response ?

    After creating Services request - Pls add 'Schema Compliance' assertion to validate XSD against actual.

    Follow, Services Request Window>Add An assertion to this item>Click>Schema Compliance
