Terminating the soapUI starter page crashes

If on loading soapUI one cancels the window that contains the soapui starter page before it has completed it's request/response cycle soapUI hangs before eventually crashing.

This occurs on version 4.0.1 and 4.5b2 on Mac OSX 10.3.7.

I have also seen this problem on 4.0.0 on windows XP as well.
