soapUI can't access the Internet.

here is an add on to my original entry above:

to Q1: Needs the Proxy an authentication ?

As written before, i need no authentication for the proxy and the same configuration works fine with soapUI 2.5.1.

to Q2: Empty testcase with http requests step ?

A simple http request to a public webside will work.

But if i use a request, where a WSDL URL has to be validated, then soapUI gets a timeout and cannot access the URL.
Even if i use a internal request, then soapUI gets a timeout and cannot access the URL.
Also the soapUI Startpage will show a "Offline Mode" (in version 3.0.1) or a "Network Timeout" (in version 3.5 beta 2).


So the question is, what has changed in the newer versions (3.0.1 and 3.5 beta 2) ?
Why is the behavior different as in version 2.5.1 ?
