I just got the below information from one of the Smartbear's page,
A common cause for this is that you are not running Jenkins with the same user account that you activated the SoapUI NG license with. Whether you are running Jenkins standalone as a service or on your existing application server you need to ensure it is running with the same user account you activated SoapUI NG with.
The following shows what steps need to be done if you are running Jenkins as a service on windows.
1. Go to the Services menu, this can be found in the Control Panel or by typing services.msc in the run prompt.
2. Search for the Jenkins service, right click and select properties, select Log On, choose "This account", and enter the user account name and password you activated SoapUI Pro with.
3. You will need to restart the service for the changes to be applied.
Please try and let us know if it favours you!
Thanks,
Samy
Hi Samy
Thank you very much, I think that did the trick! I activated another license for the Jenkins-user and now it works. I wish the error message would have said something like "license found but not valid for this user (user="jenkins")".
Now my final question is: What is the licensing model of Smartbear: Does a Jenkins machine needs a personal license or can we use the same license of a developer also for Jenkins? What if we have one master and five slave Jenkins, how many licenses do we have to purchase?
Thank you again and best regards
