How large can I go with soapUI Project ?

I would like to ask you one trivial question.
On an average how many test suits and how many test cases does soapUI Pro supports?
We created individual projects so that we can do the maintenance effectively however for the purpose of consolidated reports we are thinking to make a large project having multiple test suits. We are really worried about project size. Developers will not be able to open the big project on their machines. By and large we have seen that soapUI gets exhausted with the large project size.
Do you have any statistics ready with size or number of test cases that you support?
Also we would like to know does it make any difference if project is composite in terms of project size?
