We don't have any statistics right not about how many test cases you can have inside a soapUI project. There are users who actually have soapui projects with lots of test suites (say around 50) and we have not really received any complain so far. Also about composite projects it is mainly for user convenience but there is not much of difference if you are referring to your previous question.
