From a project get a list of all testcases

Hi!
I'm trying to figure out the Jasper reporting system to simply get me a list of all testcases and their descriptions in all testsuites in a project. This would give me a list to give for review.
Any hint's on what would be the best way to achieve this (without running the tests), simply a list of all testcases...
  • Hello,

Open the testSuit, and click on the run report icon When you run the report, go to the second page, you should be able to see the testcases. If you have further questions please let me know.

  • Yes that looks like it, besides I'd like to be able to get the list from the project level. I have 58 testsuites for various functional areas so it is ofcourse possible to open every testsuite and print the testcases, but I'd rather make it from the project level. Any ideas?
  • Hi,

My suggestion is that you either edit or create a custom report of your own. You could have a project-level report configured to print out the names of all test cases and their description. Then you should be able to generate a report on the project level containing all the information you want to have. Check out the guide on custom reporting at http://www.soapui.org/Reporting/customizing.html to get you started.
