Status of test cases of cloned test cycles
Is it possible to link/clone test cases in a new test cycle but to have the status as To Do? I see that I can create/clone new test cycles but the status is always the same as the original status. ...

When you clone a Test Cycle, it creates a completely separate entity with its own unique key. Any modifications made to the new Test Cycle itself will not affect the original cycle it was cloned from.
A single test case can be linked to multiple test cycles or runs. However, its core asset details (like Status --> To Do) remains identical across the system. you can create a new version of the test case and have a separate status and utilize the new version in a test run.

Note: Also, the execution status like Pass, Fails is isolated and uniquely maintained within each specific run.
