Cleanup cycle and Cleanup cycle cache

What is the use and benefits of "Cleanup cycle" and "Cleanup cycle" in zephyr for jira general configuration tab ?

  • "Cleanup Cycles" will help to clean cycle data. Ex: If user created a cycle and assign it to sprint then assume that sprint is no longer needed and user deletes the sprint then "Cleanup Cycles" will help to clear those kind of orphans which gives data consistent.

"Cleanup Cycle Cache": On creating/updating/deleting cycles/folders zephyr creates progress tokens to track the status of the operation performed by user so this all information will be stored in cache. "Cleanup Cycle Cache" will clears the all cache information related to completed operations by default after completing operation the cache operation will be removed or maximum it takes 4 hours for auto cleanup.
