Status of test cases of cloned test cycles

Is it possible to link/clone test cases in a new test cycle but to have the status as To Do?

I see that I can create/clone new test cycles but the status is always the same as the original status.  If I change the status, then it also changes the status of the original test cycle and I don't want that to happen.
