A few functionality questions ...
We just started taking a look at ALMComplete, using the hosted demo. Had a few questions I was hoping someone could clear up for us.
1. Is there any versioning enabled for entities? Specifically, test cases and defects? I see that the tool stores the history of changes for each, but can you revert to an earlier version of a test cases for example? or only see the history?
2. Are parameters supported in test cases? For example, can you have a somewhat generitc test case that allows a pre-defined list of parameters to be passed in when the test is being executed manually?
3. I see that when adding steps to a test case, you can add steps from an existing test case. Those test steps are copied and not linked, correct? So If I change the test steps later on the change is not carried over to a test case with the copied steps?
Thanks very much in advance,
Chris

- Hello Chris,
Regarding your questions:
1) Test Versioning is available for your Tests within the Test Library. Please find more information located at: http://www.softwareplanner.com/UsersGuide_SP/Content/UsersGuide_SP_Release986/About%20Test%20Versioning.htm?SearchType=Stem&Highlight=Versioning|Versions|Version. Defects do not have versioning, but a History tab.
2) Yes we do support parameterz, please find out more about it at: http://www.softwareplanner.com/UsersGuide_SP/Content/UsersGuide_SP_Release986/Running%20Tests.htm?SearchType=Stem&Highlight=Parameterized
3) That is correct, the Test Steps are copied and not linked.
