Hi guys,
I will really appreciate if someone of you updates this thread with the result of the case.
In my case, using "Data Selectors" with regular expression solved the problem.
not as simple as i would've have it (using the save to variable functionality) but data selectors works pretty well in my case
Thanks to Smartbear surpport team (@Alexey).

Check the Request 2 headers in the logs - there is no "NID=71=Nj...." cookie simulated. And Request 1 does not set that cookie anywhere, hence it's not simulated. The cookie is set in Request 3 of the recorded scenario, but this request is disabled.
So, looks like this SSO scenario was too tricky for LoadComplete to record the right sequence of requests, a couple of requests were mixed up. I think you need to re-enable Request 3 in the scenario, switch to the Connection view, and Move Up "Request 3" to change the recorded request order. You will also need to correlate the re-enabled Request, it has some dynamic parameters.
Let me know if you need help with this! I can't run your scenario, but I can try to make some changes on my side and send it to you in a response to your case so you can check how it works.

So... Instead of just storing the value in the variable, you had to create Data Selector, save its result into variable and than use the variable as usual. Did I get this right?

OK. Thank you!

I have another problem regarding extracting a value from a response header into a variable see attached screenshot.
anyone know why LC is failing extract?

Your RegEx seems to work fine for me (LC 3.20), just tested with a custom rule in Fiddler (just returns the same redirect). Could you post a screenshot of what was actually received in Headers for Request 5 during playback? Your screenshot shows the response body right now, not the headers.

here we go.
created a ticket with the project attached however, let me know if you need more information.
generally i suspect whether LC colleration is somehow wrong or it's on our application.
trying now to do the colleration manually... it's a torture!

augustine_uzokw_1 Thanks! I've actually meant the HTTP Headers in the Test Log, not in the Scenario. If you check the headers received during the simulation, you will see where the problem comes from - the response is different on playback.
But why the response is different is a separate question... Let me dig deeper into the scenario, and get back to you later.

that is an interesting finding, thanks.

It's really taking me too much time so i switched to used office365 signin instead of Google to do some performance and load test for now but thanks for the feed back. i will try work on it after release.
