I am a little new and could not find the answer to this in the online documentation. I wanted to Load test using 1000 users logging into my website. I would like to import them in(xls or csv) with Usernames and Passwords is this possible? I do not want to enter each one separately one at a time.

I see its possible but there really is not much information on how?

It seems like logging in with a specified Username and Password would be a very normal issue. Can I upload a csv file?

I am looking at the Login page under the scenario editor>Response>parameter(Is this the correct spot for applying these values?) (Do I paste the values I want in there or upload somehow?)

Is there any special coding like $(User) and $(Pass)? Do I apply each of these login pages separately one with Usernames and the other with Passwords.

Hi,



I am trying to record scenario for a web-based silverlight application. After recording when I check the requests, I see only one request recorded, that is to "http://download.microsoft.com/download/5/1/6/5165823D-1D79-4871-8AC2-42DDDB94A5C2/PNGs/SLMedallion_ENU.png"   & no other request is recorded.



Please help. Do I need to have some plugin or addon?

which browser are you recording with, and is this an app that uses SSL?

Is this an externally accessible site by chance?

Thank you very much for your reply. Yes, the application is using https protocol. I was using chrome as browser. After reading your post, I tried to record with Firefox Mozilla & Internet Explorer, it recorded the requests successfully. I will post question if I face any other issue.

I want to record the scenarios using test server and run them on production server. How do we parameterize the URL?

I have a stand alone application which communicates with the internet ,I want to Test the performance of the system so am using WebLoadUI for load testing it ,Is it possible?The application have View states and Session ids can i control them.



Pleas take this as a high priority and help.
