I tried to update to Windows 8.1 and got a message to uninstall "Sentinel Runtime Drivers". If I'm not mistaken, this is AQTime's doing.What should I do aside from uninstalling AQTime which I don't want to do as I find it very valuable... on the other hand, its licensing system seems to be quite troublesome.

Hi Albert, AQtime's licensing system may show this error. I'm not sure why the licensing modules are removed. As far as I remember, HASP (the third-party vendor of the licensing system) doesn't officially support Windows 8.1. So, this might be the cause of the behavior. Anyway, the latest License Manager utility version installs the HASP licensing system v. 6.60 that works fine on Windows 8.1 (our R&D team has tested it). Hi Albert,

If your application frequently crashes under AQtime, I suggest that you try the troubleshooting steps of the AQtime Troubleshooter. If they don't help, you will be redirected to the Support Team.

Thanks. Using that I was able to uninstall the previous drivers (licensing system?) and install the new ones, then upgrade to Windows 8.1.

AQTime seems to be working and I see there is an AQTime 8.1 update now... to go along with Windows 8.1 perhaps. :)

Hello,

I have another problem with Windows 8.1.

I have a floating license and I have installed AQTime 8.1 in 2 computer with Windows 8.1: AQTime crash witn a access violation in aqNatProf.dll.

I have installed AQTime 8.1 in a virtual machine with Windows 8.0 and it works fine.

Afterwards I have upgrade the VM to Windows 8.1: AQTime crash with the same error.

I have try with many project: RadStudio XE and Visual Studio 2008.

Please help me.

Hi Massimo,

AQtime 8.1 doesn't officially support Windows 8.1. This may be the cause of the behavior you observe. We cannot guarantee that AQtime 8.1 will work with the newest Windows version without any issues.

It should be added here that our R&D team is working on the Windows 8.1 support implementation. However, at the moment, I cannot give you more precise time frames of when it's going to be ready.
