Uploading an XML document to a site through SoapUI

Hi all,

I am new to using SoapUI, but it has been identified as the tool that we will be using, but i am having trouble saving an XML as a test step.

I need to upload a series of XML documents to a site and then check that they have uploaded correctly, however whenever i go to upload it as a test step, it comes up with a red X on its icon.

Any help would be grateful

    Am I understanding you correctly - that you're trying to open an XML response/message in SoapUI?
    The Red X indicates that it's not a SoapUI related project. SoapUI as structures a project through WSDLs or WADLs etc...

    When you create a new project, import the first WSDL or whatever you're doing into SoapUI which will then structure the services that are in the file.
