Re: SSL - Server Authentication (one way)...self-signed cert

I am testing a SOAP endpoint over ssl...the server has been configured with a self-signed cert and I have not loaded the cert into my truststore.  I'm suprised, however, that SOAP UI is not getting a handshake error...am I missing something?  Why wouldn't SOAP UI throw an error since the servers certificate is not in my trust store?
