Please: How to set SoapUI to recognize browser version?

Hi All,

I am trying to record a test script but each time the website launches within SoapUI, I get the error message that the web application only works on IE7 and above. The issue here is that I have IE8 installed locally so I know this may be possibly a configuration step in soapUI. Unfortunately I have searched around the forum and found no answers yet on how to achieve this.

Is there any way I can configure soapUI to recognize the locally installed browser version or have the web application launched externally when recording a test script in soapUI?

    Sorry, I should add I do not have control over the source code so I cannot change the browser requirement in the application.
