OS X Snow Leopard installation

I'm getting the "You can't open this application because it's not supported on this type of Mac" error when trying to install soapUI 4.6.4. I meet all the system requirements and then some. Anyone experienced a similar issue?

iMac
OS X 10.6.8 (all updates installed)
2GHz Intel Core Duo
2GB RAM

    Hi,

    Please make sure that you are running your Operating System in 64-bit mode.

    "If your Mac uses the 32-bit kernel by default, but supports the 64-bit kernel, you can start up using the 64-bit kernel by holding the 6 and 4 keys during startup." (This page may help: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3773)

    Unfortunately it looks like this machine doesn't support 64-bit Kernel extensions. It's an Early 2006 iMac. Does soapUI require 64 bit extensions?
