Getting a transport error - what to do?

I need a bit of help troubleshooting.

I've just been told that I need to install SOAP UI to do some testing.  Everybody else here had the install go smoothly and it seems to work "right out of the box."

We install on my machine and when I try to execute a test I get an error message stating:

Mon Jun 08 10:27:16 CDT 2009:ERROR:com.eviware.soapui.model.iface.Request$SubmitException: com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.submit.RequestTransportRegistry$MissingTransportException: Missing transport for protocol [ http]

We are all, theoretically, running the exact same software.  Our software load is dictated by corporate IT.  I'm not running anything that the other people who are running this successfully don't have.

Nobody here has any idea what to do at this point.  I've done some web research, but I'm coming up blank.  Is there anyone out there who might be able to shed a bit of light on this?  Might I need to install some additional Java classes?

Thanks,

Chris

    Hi Chris,

it just looks like you have a leading space in your endpoint, ie " http..." instead of "http...", can you check that?

    regards!

  • Hey
I just register to post a BIG Thanks to you.
I wasted more then two hours and was unable to troubleshoot this error.
It was just the leading space at endpoint url.
Once again thank you very much..

    Thanks
