Importing into existing folders using Fast Edit

Hi,



When importing using Fast Edit it never remembers the folder that I had selected on screen.  It would be useful if the import tool could recognise the folder that was selected at the time.  Is this possible?  When importing say test cases I am currently having to import, and then go and move the test cases into the relevant folder.  When there are a large number of tests it can be difficult to identify which ones to move as you have to be at the top level folder which contains ALL tests underneath it be default.

    Hi Andrew,

    I'm a little confused - are you using Fast Edit to move things around or are you using Actions / Import?

    If it's Actions / Import, all you need is to add a column in your spreadsheet for the desired Folder/Subfolder. As long as the folder/subfolder exists (and matches exactly then the import will put your data into the desired folders.

    Or just let me know if I'm missing something....
