Hi Andrew,
I'm a little confused - are you using Fast Edit to move things around or are you using Actions / Import?
If it's Actions / Import, all you need is to add a column in your spreadsheet for the desired Folder/Subfolder. As long as the folder/subfolder exists (and matches exactly then the import will put your data into the desired folders.
Or just let me know if I'm missing something....
